Big changes and updates! – Nov 1

By | 1st November 2018

Big changes afoot, there have been so many updates this past week I’ve almost lost count of the patches. Most recently we got listed on the X-Plane.org community site – https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/48027-simtoolkitpro/

Secondly, there is now support for the popular WebFMC plugin for X-Plane too, here it is in action.

To enable this, install the plugin and tick the box in the settings page. Remember this is X-Plane only.

The server mode UI has been changed to be nicer and more useful and there is more checking of consistency for the network system to reduce the number of crashes. There are only so many sets of circumstances I can test in the office.

There has been a bunch more support added for the auto detection of aircraft, the Live Map now uses ArcGIS for the topo map mode and you can overlay your flight plan (.fms format) onto it

Connection indicators improve on the connection system and reduce error messages by stopping the toolkit attempting to connect to a non-running application.

Its also now vastly easier to setup folders as Prepar3D and X-plane install directories are auto configured if possible.

Lastly, we are now fully 64 bit, having updated the remaining modules that were holding it back so we have much better support and stability now. You can keep up with development on here, and on our facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/simtoolkitpro/. Development is regularly streamed on https://twitch.tv/xyligo. You can join the conversation on discord here – https://discord.gg/JwjUer4.

Thanks for your time and the continued feedback!
